What You'll Do

As a Developer within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure-related Automation Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will be dealing with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.

In Your Role As a Developer

  • You will work closely onsite with team colleagues in Dresden on joint development projects.
  • You will work on the development of high-quality building blocks of automation in the context of infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • You will work with SAP Service Provider Cockpit (SPC), a solution that provides services for managing SAP Cloud efficiently and professionally.
  • You will optimize and simplify existing processes and code used for infrastructure provisioning of SAP’s cloud systems and applications.
  • You are a good team player, as we are working in a friendly and agile team.
  • You are open to continuously learn new technologies.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of development experience
  • Fluent German communication skills (C1) are a must have
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Proven programming skills in object-oriented language like TypeScript, Java, ABAP, etc.
  • Experienced in technologies/frameworks like Node.JS, K8S, GitHub, Docker, Jenkins
  • Experience developing of concepts or software architectures
  • Proven OS knowledge in Linux
  • Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Basis or similar technologies as foundation for automation is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience on public IaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, …) is beneficial
  • Very good team player with a clear “Can Do” attitude
