About Us
EASY-TO-USE-ROBOTICS FOR EVERYONE
Imagine a world with more room to unleash our unique cognitive strengths at work. A world where all people – whether craftsmans, blue-collars worker or engineers – have access to automation technologies that perform inhuman, monotonous and high-precision tasks much more efficiently than we do.
At Wandelbots, we're fundamentally reshaping the way to work with robots. We eliminate the complexity and develop easy-to-use solutions to speed up automation and empower everyone to work with industrial robots and beyond.
Mission
2017 founded, Wandelbots employs more than 100 people from 14 countries today. From our headquarters in Dresden Germany, we are giving our heart and soul to follow our mission, to empower everybody to easily work with robots.
Our Culture
Wandelbots’ team culture is deeply driven by our purpose and values. We love autonomy, high fives, and every kind of cake. We celebrate team efforts and learning moments. We grow through feedback and honor kindness and empathy. We build waterslides and invent anti-racism campaigns. We are creative, innovative and blessed with a can-do attitude. We truly believe that robots love people, so we just do love them back.

What You Do
Customer projects (Wandelbots-delivered)
- You are part of our project teams: you help design, implement and commission robotic applications built on NOVA, from simulation to the real cell.
- You know these projects inside out and become the technical point of contact for the customer after go-live, including support and further development.
- You accompany projects that customers and integration partners implement themselves, as their technical sparring partner.
- You review solution architectures, help with tricky technical questions and unblock teams on site or remotely.
- You run trainings, workshops and onboarding sessions for customers and partners.
- You build example applications, templates and best practices, and contribute to our documentation.
- You translate insights from the field into concrete product improvements together with Product and Engineering.
- You help to diagnose and resolve technical issues around NOVA, its SDKs and APIs.
- You have several years of experience as an automation, robotics or application engineer, ideally in customer-facing projects.
- You have hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g. KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Universal Robots, Yaskawa) and know typical applications such as handling, palletizing or machine tending.
- You are comfortable writing code, ideally in Python.
- You understand industrial networks and communication (TCP/IP, PROFINET/EtherNet/IP, OPC UA) and can get a robot cell connected.
- You are curious about AI and use it in your daily work, e.g. for development or for robotic applications.
- You can explain technical concepts clearly and enjoy teaching others.
- You communicate confidently and empathetically with customers and partners.
- You are fluent in German (C1 or higher) and English, written and spoken.
- You hold a driving license and are open to regular travel to customer sites.
- You are based in Dresden, or willing to move or commute to spend about 2/3 of your time at our Dresden shopfloor, especially during the first 6 months.
- You have experience with simulation, especially NVIDIA Omniverse / Isaac Sim.
- You have worked with TypeScript, C++, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), GitLab or GitHub.
- You have experience with ROS.
- You have worked for a system integrator or in a technical consulting or presales role.
- You have experience with machine vision or AI-based robotic applications.
