International Logistics Specialist (Import/Export) (m/f/d)
At ESMC, we are building a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in Dresden. As part of our international Supply Chain organization, you will play a key role in establishing efficient global logistics processes that ensure the reliable movement of materials, equipment and goods across international borders.
This position offers the opportunity to shape logistics processes from the ground up in an international greenfield environment while working closely with colleagues, logistics providers and customs authorities around the world.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage international import and export shipments for the Dresden fab and related locations.
- Coordinate daily logistics operations together with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
- Support customs clearance activities and ensure compliant import and export processes.
- Review logistics-related invoices and payment processes within SAP.
- Monitor logistics service providers against agreed KPIs and support continuous performance improvements.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, customs authorities and international logistics partners.
- Support the implementation and harmonization of global logistics processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics, customs and global trade processes in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to establishing scalable logistics structures within our greenfield project.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience (approximately 7+ years) in international logistics, import/export, customs or global trade.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international import/export processes.
- Practical experience coordinating international shipments.
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with international stakeholders.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
- Experience within semiconductor, electronics, automotive or other manufacturing industries.
- Experience with SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of export control regulations.
- Mandarin language skills.
- Help build a completely new semiconductor manufacturing site in Europe.
- Work in a highly international environment with colleagues across Europe, Taiwan and the US.
- Shape logistics processes instead of maintaining existing structures.
- Participate in global projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- International onboarding including 4–6 weeks of training in Taiwan and Arizona.
