At our site, you will take on a responsible role as a Shift Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on operational control as well as leading and developing a shift team.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the shift team, including workforce planning, motivation, and employee development
• Coordination and ensuring smooth operational processes and shift workflows at the site
• Planning and managing resources, shift schedules, and material usage in close coordination with site management
• Operational execution of cylinder/container changeovers in the gas and chemical supply systems
• Acting as a point of contact for customers, supervisors, and team members regarding operational and technical issues as well as troubleshooting
• Responsibility for administrative and commercial tasks (e.g., ordering, time tracking, documentation)
• Continuous improvement of occupational safety, quality, and efficiency, including the creation and maintenance of work instructions and risk assessments
  
  

Show Your Expertise

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics technician, plant mechanic, electrician (m/f/d)) or a comparable qualification
• Initial leadership experience or proven experience in guiding employees is desirable
• Several years of professional experience in the operation, maintenance, or servicing of technical systems
• Strong organizational skills as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities when dealing with employees, customers, and interfaces
• High sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and a hands-on mentality in day-to-day operations
• Willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call duty, as well as confident use of MS Office and documentation systems
