Senior ESH Engineer (m/f/d) – Environment, Safety & Health
As our Senior ESH Engineer (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for all ESMC fab environment, safety, health related matters at the site and proactively minimize risks. You are not just an enforcer of rules, but an active shaper of safety strategies and environmental standards in a dynamic high-tech environment.

Job Responsibilities
Your Mission: Shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing in a safe and sustainable way.
- Risk Management & Compliance: You will lead comprehensive risk assessments and develop improvement plans in accordance with German standards (e.g., GefStoffV, AwSV, BImSchG).
- System Responsibility: You will develop and maintain our management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, DGUV V3) and ensure their smooth implementation.
- Knowledge Transfer: You will design and lead EHS training programs (in accordance with DGUV Regulation 1) to strengthen safety awareness across the entire team.
- Analysis & Prevention: You investigate incidents using root cause analyses, initiate corrective actions, and ensure comprehensive reporting.
- Plant Safety: You thoroughly inspect our machinery and equipment (BetrSichV) and ensure compliance with all environmental permits.
- Monitoring & Technology: You monitor environmental factors, analyze emissions data, and lead projects to improve energy efficiency (EnEV/EEG) and control pollutants.
- Interface Management: You will serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and professional associations and provide strategic advice to management on all EHS matters.
You want to help shape EHS processes from the ground up in one of Europe’s most advanced Fab, ensuring the long-term success of technological innovations.
- You are a problem solver with sharp analytical skills who remains calm under pressure and impresses with strong communication skills.
- Education: A successfully completed engineering degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., safety engineering, environmental sciences, engineering).
- Qualifications: certified in occupational safety specialist (Sifa) according to DGUV/TÜV and hold qualifications as an internal auditor (ISO 45001/14001).
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in the EHS field or in a technical environment, ideally in industry or manufacturing.
- Expertise: You are well-versed in German environmental and occupational safety laws.
- Personality: You are a self-starter, team-oriented, and possess strong intercultural competence.
- Languages: You are fluent in German and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is a valuable asset for our global collaboration.
- Legal Requirements: You hold a valid work permit for Germany.
- Training: Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan, 4 to 6 months.
