The Group of Artificial Intelligence is looking for a Scientific Assistant (f/m/d) Junior Helmholtz.AI Consultant.
Your tasks
- Design, Test, Training, Evaluation/Benchmarking and Use
- of computer vision-based AI systems
- of tabular-data based AI systems
- Presentation and Communication of Results at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals
- Developing Methods for Explaining AI-Based Predictions
Your profile
- Completed university studies (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Computer Sciences, in the field of Natural Sciences, or related fields
- Experience and knowledge
- in supervised learning computer vision architectures (Unet, StarDist, Cellpose, CPN, nnUnet, SAM, Dino, Yolo)
- in machine learning benchmarking and evaluation metrics
- in tabular machine learning (scikit-learn, xgboost)
- in reproducible scientific programming and data science
- in FAIR data management
- in use of HPC resources
- with methods of explainability of computer vision models
- A self-organized, creative approach to work, as well as a communicative, tolerant, and resilient personality with a strong sense of curiosity
- Fluent English proficiency, German proficiency considered beneficial
