European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:
Document Control & Management Engineer
As a Document Control & Management Engineer at ESMC you will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of our document control system. You will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of the processes by collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and thereby ensure the success of our future fab here in Dresden.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Charge: Take ownership of developing, implementing, and maintaining our document control system, ensuring all project-related documents are managed efficiently.
2. Ensure Compliance: Guarantee that all documents meet industry standards, ESMC policies, and regulatory requirements, keeping us on the right track.
3. Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and facilitates seamless information flow across departments.
4. Streamline Processes: Implement and manage document flows to ensure smooth and effective document handling throughout the organization.
5. Report and Analyze: Generate regular reports on document control activities, including compliance status, document revision history, and any issues or discrepancies identified, helping us stay informed and proactive.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications and Education:
At least a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information and Data Management, Document Management or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in above fields is beneficial, but not required.
Must have experience:
1. 3+ years of experience in document control, preferably in the semiconductor industry or a similar high-tech manufacturing environment.
2. Proven professional experience in managing documentation for large-scale construction and manufacturing projects.
3. Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and document control software i.e. Autodesk Construction Cloud or comparable.
Language Skills:
Fluent German and English language skills.
Personal Attributes:
1. Analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to details to manage complex situations and workflows.
3. Great communication skills to bring stakeholders together and adept at cross-functional coordination.
