Your mission

As an IT System Administrator (m/f/d) at Last Mile Semiconductor GmbH in the heart of Silicon Saxony (Dresden), you will ensure that our development and operating environments for pioneering IoT semiconductor solutions run reliably, securely and with high performance. Support an innovative team and help us shape the infrastructure for the connected world of tomorrow

Your tasks:

• 
  Conception and development of our IT infrastructure
  
• 
  Administration, development and expansion of a Linux-based IT infrastructure (focus on EDA chip design tools)
  
• 
  Maintenance and integration of online services such as Jira, Confluence and Gitlab
  
• 
  You support our move to a new office environment by setting up the new infrastructure
  
• 
  You act as a contact person for our team members and external contacts
  
• 
  You work independently on projects within IT administration and proactively drive forward your own priorities
  

Your profile:

• 
  You have a background in general computer science, media informatics, electrical engineering or similar
  
• 
  Knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (shell scripts, Python)
  
• 
  You have advanced network knowledge (both cloud-based and internally hosted networks)
  
• 
  At best, you are familiar with Jira, Confluence (Atlassian) and Gitlab
  
• 
  You are proactive, team-oriented and communicate openly and directly
  
• 
  You have a very good command of German and English
