Zuständigkeiten / Hauptaufgaben

What You Will Do

Join an international team of AI researchers, data engineers, and clinicians dedicated to developing life-saving algorithms for critical care. Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  Iteratively research, apply, and validate latest machine learning (ML) and reinforcement learning (RL) approaches to guide patient treatment
  
• 
  Clean, preprocess, and structure datasets to ensure they are AI-ready for ML/RL applications
  
• 
  Contribute through research to topics such as modeling, uncertainty quantification, explainability, and offline policy evaluation, while having the freedom to pursue your own ideas
  

Qualifikationen / Anforderungen

Who You Are

• 
  Currently enrolled at a German university and pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  
• 
  Possess a solid understanding of machine learning, with particular experience in reinforcement learning
  
• 
  Proficient in Python programming, with hands-on experience using libraries such as pandas, PyTorch, wandb, and matplotlib
  
• 
  Business-fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
  
• 
  Passionate about conducting research
