Senior Specialist Electrical Engineering - #2142344

Job Description

To succeed in this role, candidate must contribute to the planning, design, and cost estimation of complex electrical systems in high-tech facilities within the Semiconductor, BioPharma, and Life Sciences industries

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop electrical system designs across all project phases: Concept Design, Basic Design, and Detail Design
  
• 
  Create and manage technical documentation, including specifications, functional descriptions, drawings, and bills of quantities
  
• 
  Estimate costs and ensure adherence to budgets, quality standards, and project schedules
  
• 
  Support project management with schedule planning and adjustments
  
• 
  Prepare work packages for subcontractors, monitor execution, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
  
• 
  Coordinate internal and external interfaces to maintain efficient information flow
  
• 
  Attend meetings, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and on-site acceptance tests
  
• 
  Oversee on-site installation and commissioning of electrical systems
  

Your Profile:

• 
  Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  
• 
  At least 5 years of experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of electrical systems
  
• 
  Experience in high-tech environments such as Semiconductor or BioPharma industries preferred
  
• 
  Proficient in MS Office and relevant design tools (e.g.,
  
  DIALux, Relux
  
  )
  

Knowledge of:

• 
  Lighting calculations (normal and emergency)
  
• 
  Cable routing systems (ladders, trays)
  
• 
  Busbar and junction box design
  
• 
  Lightning and surge protection systems
  
• 
  ATEX explosion protection integration
  
• 
  Familiarity with applicable technical codes and regulations
  
• 
  Must be fluent in German and English
  
• 
  Strong teamwork, initiative, and flexibility (including willingness to travel)
