As a Commercial Project Manager (m/f/d) in Procurement & Subcontract Management, you will be responsible for technically demanding work packages from contract award to project completion. Your tasks include monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance, change order and change management, as well as claim management. Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance
  • Commercial handling of subcontractor claims
  • Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors
  • Claim management in close cooperation with contract management
  • Minimizing risks that may arise from subcontractor delays through proactive planning and communication
  • Negotiating contract conclusions
  • Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality management, planning, and project management to ensure smooth project execution
  • Continuous improvement management through regular feedback and implementation of lessons learned
  • Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager

Show Your Expertise

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years’ experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry
  • Knowledge of handling contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI is an advantages
  • Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase
  • Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style
