As a Construction Area Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the compliant execution of complex EPC projects or sub-projects comprehensively for specific areas of plants and factories.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the construction management of industrial high-tech projects
- Overall responsibility for timely, high-quality, and cost-effective construction execution within a section of the building or fire compartment
- First point of contact for our customers, providing technical advice, conducting meetings, and corresponding with subcontractors
- Leading the project team and subcontractors
- Scheduling and monitoring construction progress
- Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations
- Conducting site inspections and inspections for acceptance
- Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress
- Relevant qualification in construction (e.g., master's or technician qualification), or a completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, building services engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Proven experience in construction supervision across various trades on large-scale projects
- Experience in industrial or plant construction, particularly within the semiconductor or battery industry is preferred, but not required
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, local regulations and standards
- Willingness to travel within D-A-CH region and to stay on site for 5 days during project assignments
- Intercultural competence, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken (at least B2 level) to ensure effective communication with German-speaking staff and authorities
- German driver's license class B
