About The Role

As a Layout Manager, you'll be instrumental in developing next-generation memory solutions, including DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory technologies. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenges and leadership opportunities, perfect for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact in the semiconductor industry.

The Responsibilities Of The Layout Manager Include

• Lead and coordinate layout work across multiple teams, including designers, contractors, and foundry partners
• Spearhead the development of advanced memory technologies, utilizing your extensive experience in DRAM, NAND, and emerging memories
• Define and implement chip floorplans and metal orientations for optimal performance
• Collaborate with foundries to resolve complex DRC violations and ensure design integrity
• Establish and maintain layout methodologies and guidelines to achieve the highest quality standards
• Manage layout development schedules, proposing corrective actions when needed
• Drive the tape-out process, ensuring all sign-off criteria are met
  
  

The Requirements Of The Layout Manager Include

• Managerial-level experience in semiconductor layout engineering
• Deep expertise in-memory technologies, including DRAM, NAND, and emerging memories
• Strong understanding of advanced technology nodes, such as FinFET and FDSOI (a significant plus)
• Proven leadership skills in managing layout teams and coordinating cross-functional projects
• Excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners
• A track record of successful tape-outs and a keen eye for quality and efficiency
• Experience mentoring and managing a team of memory design engineers.
