To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:
Failure Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)
Are you a problem-solving enthusiast with a passion for manufacturing excellence and quality assurance? Join our team as a Failure Analysis Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in identifying and resolving issues to enhance quality and reliability. Elevate your technical skills and make a significant impact in a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis: conduct tests and collaborate with various teams to identify solutions and prevent future failures.
2. Infrastructure: Design and develop state-of-the-art Failure Analysis Lab capabilities related to product defects, yield, and reliability in semiconductor manufacturing.
3. Lead and mentor the Failure Analysis lab team to conduct routine monitoring, troubleshoot events, and verify continuous improvement projects.
4. Develop Technical Expertise and proficiency with advanced failure analysis tools and cultivate deep expertise in semiconductor processes, testing protocols, reliability assessments, packaging methods, and electrical failure analysis to ensure comprehensive problem-solving.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications and Education:
1. Legally eligible to work in Germany.
2. Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan for one year.
3. Master’s, Diploma or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a quality and engineering related field.
4. Sound knowledge with preference of hands on experience with FIB/TEM/SEM/SIMS/XPS or related analysis techniques such as image, EDS, EELS, electron diffraction and spectrum data analysis.
5. Through and through a quality champion, flexible and open to go the extra mile to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, openminded and curious to discover.
7. Exceptional project management skills.
Language Skills:
1. Fluent in English.
2. Basic command of German and Mandarin Chinese a plus.
