A key part of our platform are the web applications of our elevait suite. Among others, they provide functionalities for exploring customer data, configuring automatization rules, or annotating training and benchmark data. To continue our endeavor and bring our apps to the next level, we are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack, TypeScript) (f/m/x) that is eager to support one of our feature-stream teams in Dresden!

Your Role

• You push and guide the design and implementation of functionalities in our all-TypeScript web applications
• You help to shape and realize our efforts around topics of providing user-friendly data exploration and platform configuration features, and are eager to take the lead for specific projects within these topics
• You inspire your colleagues by following the latest trends in the web-development communities, actively sharing your knowledge, and mentoring less-experienced engineers
• You promote best practices and consistency within our web application's shared code base (mono-repositiory) and are happy to coordinate across teams for this
• You advocate and live for high-quality implementations by following common practices such as pair programming, test-driven development, or end-to-end responsibilities
  
  

Your Skills

• You have substantial experience in professional web development and in leading the design or architecture of software systems
• You are proficient in TypeScript and Node.js as well as in multiple frameworks such as NestJS, rxJS, Angular, etc.
• You know the core concepts of version control systems and can apply them to produce clean git graphs
• You know tools, technologies, and practices for developing, building, testing, and deploying applications within an CI/CD setup (e.g., PR reviewing, test-driven development, Cypress/Playwright, Docker, etc.)
• You are experienced with REST interfaces, ideally (but not necessarily) you are familiar with Websocket connections too
• Not required, but beneficial: Experience with technologies related to knowledge graphs / semantic web, such as RDF, SPARQL, SHACL, etc.
• You have excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are not essential, but you’ll find them very useful
