We are looking for you as an accountant/ financial accountant at our company headquarters in Dresden as soon as possible. The position is to be filled on a full-time or part-time basis (from 30 hours per week). You will be responsible for booking business transactions. You will also be responsible for operational annual financial statements, accounts payable, advance VAT returns and travel expense accounting

THE FOLLOWING TASKS AWAIT YOU

• 
  Processing current business transactions in a national and international environment
  
• 
  Independent implementation of receivables management
  
• 
  Processing and posting accruals and deferrals
  
• 
  Managing asset accounting
  
• 
  Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
  
• 
  Collaboration with tax consultants and auditors
  
• 
  Preparation of advance VAT returns, ZM and Intrastat declarations
  

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

• 
  Completed commercial training, preferably with further training as a certified accountant
  
• 
  Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  
• 
  Sound knowledge of HGB and national tax law
  
• 
  Good knowledge of international VAT law and IFRS is an advantage
  
• 
  Experienced handling of common accounting software and MS Office applications
  
• 
  Fluent German and good English skills
